When I initially met Irena + Sweeney, off the bat I loved the energy they shared, it was so evident they were meant for each other. They described wanting their wedding day vision to be low key, and full of family + friends.
They were excited to work with Adam, Avenue’s fabulous associate photographer [+ John the super talented 2nd shooter]…their engagement photos were just the tip of the iceberg, Adam had so much fun getting to know them and creating memories for them…[trash the dress photos coming soon!]
Irena + Sweeney got so lucky with the weather as it was calling for rain all day long and they had planned for an outdoor ceremony. I love that they decided to opt out for the ‘first look’, it really gives couples the opportunity to enjoy each other, before the nerves of walking down the aisle and the busyness of the day takes over, and of course it makes for some lovely, emotional photos.
Irena looked gorgeous in her flowy gown paired with a sparkly pair of Kate Spade shoes, perfect combo. Sweeney really worked his tux avec bow tie, with some aviator shades, totally GQ material.
Surrounded by love from family and friends they exchanged beautiful vows and later danced the night away.
