Cluny Bistro Distillery District Engagement Photos

This Cluny Bistro, Distillery District engagement session was so much fun. I’m a total foodie, so the ability to shoot in such an awesome restaurant is always awesome.

Tina & Eric found me through a referral from one of Tina’s great friends and one of my favourite clients, Andrea & Brian. It’s always so great getting referrals, of course from the business perspective, but mostly because I know the friend my past clients recommend are going to be awesome. It never fails, I have not yet been disappointed.

Tina & Eric are two of the most easy going, sweet, quirky, wonderful people. And they are total foodies. During our initial consultation we spent almost two hours chatting, maybe 15 minutes of that was about wedding related topics. Otherwise the conversation naturally diverted towards food. Eating, cooking, restaurants, classes, blogs, you name it, it was covered. It was only appropriate that Tina & Eric wanted their engagement session to have some sort of food aspect to it. What better spot, than Cluny Bistro. The way Tina described it was that they had bread that crackles. My fave, when the bread whispers to you and the crust is so perfectly crispy it crackles, she totally sold me on it. I love bread, and I love amazing bread even more. As we finished shooting, Tina and Eric were thoughtful enough to get me a baguette, they know the way to my heart [as if we were not having enough fun already]…crispy bread…mmm.

It was a beautiful, but chilly April morning, but the distillery was just empty enough for us to explore without crowds. What a perfect way to spend the morning.

The way Tina & Eric, described what their vision for their wedding day was; painted such a beautiful picture of a day spent with their closest family and friends, with amazing food, of course, and at a venue that will be so beautiful in June, it will be a magical day.
