Wendy & Ken – Distillery District Engagement Photos

This romantic Distillery District engagement session, which also included a stop at the incredible Cluny Bistro, is such a perfect share for today. The weather feels similar to the day of the shoot. But most importantly this gorgeous duo is saying ‘we do’ tomorrow. YAY!

Adam met Wendy and Ken, at Adele and Daniel’s gorgeous Cambridge Mill wedding last year. Tomorrow Adele will be in Wendy & Ken’s wedding party. Adam and I love shooting wedding where we see familiar faces. We know it’s going to be a great party, and we know we’ll get to see people we know and love. Word of mouth is our favourite type of referral.

Ken lives in New Jersey, and Wendy and him, have been doing the long distance thing for a while, it’s amazing how strong relationships are. True, genuine, melt your heart love can totally stand the test of time and distance. I know they are both super excited. About spending time with friends who are coming to Toronto to celebrate with them from all over the world. What an incredible way to spend Thanksgiving weekend. Marrying your other half, and knowing that you are surrounded by family and friends who love and support you.

Wendy’s flowy teal dress, for me, is the perfect contrast to the red brick of the Distillery District. Laughter always gets me. When a couple is able to laugh together, and genuinely have an amazing time together, that’s love. A partner in crime who you can totally be yourself with is an absolute treasure. These two have that all figured out, and it’s such an amazing love to capture.
