Kailey & John – Scarborough Bluffs Engagement Shoot
This romantic Scarborough Bluffs engagement session was a dream! Kailey & John were so much fun. Although I know initially John was a bit hesitant. Which is quite normal. Most of our clients are people who are not necessarily comfortable in front of the camera. It’s our job to make you comfortable. We will make the shoot fun and you get a chance to cuddle in a little closer to your love. We usually give our couples some direction, actions and things to do, so it all feels more natural, and more like YOU! And it gives us some awesome in-between moments to capture.
During this session you’d also never know that it was a super cold fall day during this romantic Scarborough Bluffs engagement. Granted, the wind did some magic, and Kailey’s had her own personal wind machine. But, let me tell you, she was a trooper. No coat and sandals, she looked incredible, and the shoot looks like a breezy summer’s day. In fact it was -10 with the windchill. The waves on the lake were huge!
Kailey & John are great together! They have this awesome chemistry and at the same time, such tenderness. When we did a quick wardrobe change, Kailey helped john with his shirt sleeve buttons. She said she loves doing little things like that for him. It’s their thing. I love hearing that. It makes my heart happy, knowing other people have found their lobsters. And as you know I’m such a sucker for love. I am a total romantic, and a total believer!
Let’s talk about the Scarborough Bluffs. I mean I great up just up the road, so it does have such sentimental value for me as being my ‘hood. But honestly, this gem, just east of the city. You get greenery, you get beaches, you get the escarpment, and a marina. If you need to go for a walk, decompress or just enjoy the scenery. It’s such an awesome spot.
