Hazelton Manor Wedding – Remi & Emil
This summer Hazleton Manor wedding was a perfect celebration. Remi and Emil were over the moon happy with their entire wedding day. There smiles never left their faces. Through the entire ceremony, they smiled and exchanged glances. Even as they exchanged vows they grinned from ear to ear. Their entire day, they were surrounded by so much love from friends and family. It was such a joy to witness.
With the help of Nina E. Events, Emil’s sister, who helped with the help planning of the wedding, together they dreamed up an incredibly classy celebration. There we’re incredible touches of rustic elegance, and of course the Pantone colour of the year, ultraviolet. Glenda, who took over Nina’s planning duties, was such an incredible force through the day, this way the Groom’s sister could enjoy her brother getting married.
I first got to know Remi and Emil during their
engagement session last summer. It was such an awesome experience to photograph them. Their energy was so infectious. Their love was so evident. We spent the evening around Guildwood Park and Scarborough Bluffs. Even though we all got bitten like crazy by all of the mosquitoes, the photos turned out absolutely amazing. I was super excited for this coming June, and for the opportunity to capture their wedding day memories.
I think during preparation Remi was a little bit nervous, which I think is totally normal for most Brides. But as soon as all the guests and family start arriving, she started dancing and really enjoyed herself. Any of her nerves melted away.
Their ceremony was beautiful with some traditional elements. When Emil put the ring on Remi’s finger, she brought her hand up, showed off the ring to everyone that was present and they grinned at each other; it was official! As they were walking out of the church, their happiness was so very evident. It was so incredible to see.

Edwards Gardens Wedding Photos
Before heading up to the Hazelton Manor, we went to Edwards Gardens for some photos. That park is always so busy on the weekends. Especially on a beautiful weekend like theirs was, there were so many people enjoying the sunshine and the blooms. The entire wedding party through it would be a great idea to order McDonald’s. With their bellies filled by a good dose of McDs we ended up having a blast doing some fun photos all around the park. Towards the end of the session, Remi and I we’re laughing about how she wore her ‘comfortable’ heels. We were laughing, that even though she was a season heel-wearing pro, being in heels all day long is a painful process. So ladies, if you find a pair of heels that does not make your tootsies hurt like mad, you let us know!
Amazing Wedding Celebration at Hazelton Manor
During cocktails Remi & Emil took a little time to themselves just to take it all in. Once all the guests were seated, they blew everyone away, with their incredibly energetic grand entrance. With the beat of drums, they made their first entrance dancing their way in, as the newly married couple. All of the guests joined on the dance floor for an awesome party. I love it when weddings start with dancing. The energy is always so infectious. Everyone’s always having such a good time. What a way to start celebration.
Their evening was dotted with a few beautiful speeches. As well as the sweetest mother and son dance I’ve ever seen. Emil’s mom looked so absolutely proud of him. As I suspected by the time dinner was done, the cake was cut, Remi got her second wind, and tore up the dance floor. I love it when a bride and groom are out there with all of their guests on the dance floor. It really livens things up. It creates for such an awesome party atmosphere. Because really, who does not want to dance with the newlyweds.
Remi and Emil thank you so very very much for inviting Adam and I to be there to celebrate your love, and your first day as husband and wife. I hope the memories we captured are your first beautiful family heirloom. We wish you years of adventure and happiness.

As a wedding photographer, I love this set of summer wedding photoshots. It gives me a lot ideas to take better artworks.
