University of Toronto Engagement Photos

This University of Toronto engagement session was so much fun. It was a beautiful but chilly day in Toronto. 

As with all of our clients, for their engagement portraits, I usually suggest for them to pick a spot that has meaning to them. Whether it’s a place they like visually, greenery or architecture, or a place that has some personal meaning to them.

Veronica and Julius, were so sweet when deciding on the spot, they considered the ROM, Humber College, even a home improvement store, as they said they spend a lot of time at Lowe’s, which I can totally relate to. ;o)

In the end, they decided on the beautiful U of T campus. They love the architecture and the feel of the campus, a perfect spot in the middle of the city to stroll through.

Veronica and Julius, have an ease about them, a sweet comfort, they have been together for a while, so there is such an awesome mutual understanding and love between them. It was so lovely to photograph.

Veronica has a background in architecture, and Julius is extremely handy, so we chatted about all of the fun projects home ownership brings along, and our mutual love of to-do lists and little projects around the house. We joked about how fun it is to ‘adult’ it, and how much time all of these little projects take, but how rewarding they are. They spoke about how their home is an awesome gathering place for friends and family, and how summer BBQs are coming, and hopefully the warm weather.
Veronica and Julius, I so cannot wait to meet all of your friends and family in June, and I’m sure warmer weather will be here in time for your big day!
