The first blog post of 2011…holy moly!
I love it when couples contact me for ‘just because’ portrait sessions – and vow to myself that I will schedule one with my husband some time ‘this year’…I love it even more when the couples who contact me are dear friends.
Alison + Chris met on a blind date…which is super sweet…and I guess the rest is history. They are both foodies…and Trivial Pursuit champs…Chris has the largest database of trivia stored in his head… completely ridiculous…Alison is a marathon runner…and has a way about her that simply puts a smile on your face…she is so funny…and sweet.
For this shoot we literally chose the coldest day in December…it was frigid, but we are total troopers and survived the cold. After we finished we headed to Balzac’s in Liberty Village for a steaming cup of a much deserved warm beverage. I’m super thrilled they asked me to photograph them…they have such an awesome energy between them, a slew of inside jokes that make them both giggle to the point of tears…and Chris’ vogue-ing, well that is something to be seen…he totally got into the modeling – and I think he loved it!
