Another gorgeous wedding to share with you…I met Layla and Dwayne earlier this year, and during our initial consultation I spilled my tea…everywhere!…way to go Margaret! Besides that little incident our meeting was great…we chatted about their story, their wedding, and by the end I had a feeling this was going to be a great wedding…I was so happy when they called and said they’d like me to capture their day.
Layla + Dwayne’s day was perfect…even though it poured for their outdoor ceremony – thanks weatherman! – it did not matter, the couple friends and family were amazing, and even though the weather was not cooperating they enjoyed the intimate ceremony under umbrellas and awnings, it was so lovely to see. After some quick photos around the Distillery District it was time to party…I have not yet seen a group of guest so ready and willing to dance at every opportunity…they were there to have some serious fun!
I love weddings and couples like this…filled with surprises, ready to roll with the punches, one gorgeous gown, a pair of sparkly Valentino shoes, a groom dressed to the nines, an awesome group of guests, delish food, a fantastic venue = perfection!
