Oh I love Meaghan & Adam’s engagement story. They are a couple who loves the cooler months, so Adam had the brilliantly romantic idea of what his proposal was going to be. They would visit the Christmas Market at the Distillery District and he’d pop the question there. As Adam and Meaghan walked around and enjoyed the smells, sounds and bustle of the Holiday season, he was trying to figure out what the best place to pop the question would be. Finally he found a quiet[ish] spot and asked Meaghan if she’d marry him, all the while a crowd gathered around them. As he popped the question Meaghan was speechless, but a passerby who was so excited that she just witnessed the proposal walked right up to them and begun congratulating them and asking if they’d just gotten engaged. With the moment interrupted and Adam still kneeling without an answer the winter wonderland swirled around them; Meaghan said yes – of course, and they are planning a beautiful winter wedding.
We had such a great morning together, wandering around the distillery when it’s still sleepy early on a weekend. And we had a blast hanging out and trying some delicious sweets at one of our Toronto faves – Bobbette & Belle. They will satisfy your sweet tooth cravings and caffeine addiction and you’ll bring home a few goodies to enjoy later on or on the car ride home [eeks].
