Lindsay & Jamie – Kleinburg Wedding Photography
This spring Doctor’s House wedding was a gorgeous one. It’s such a sweet spot, so close to the city, yet it’s super elegant, quaint, timeless and romantic.
Lindsay and Jamie’s day started off beautifully. The forecasts were calling for cloudy weather but the sun came out in full force. It was a perfect spring day.
Lindsay and the girls had a relaxing morning getting ready. Once Lindsay put the dress on the nerves came out just a little bit. But the playlist Lindsay’s dad curated kept the mood light and fun. On their way to The Doctor’s House for the first look, the emotions and excitement took over. Until Lindsay and Jamie saw each other for the first time she had butterflies in her stomach all the way to The Doctor’s House. Jamie and his men seemed to have a blast, easy going, laughing, playing a card game or two. Jamie was so excited to see Lindsay, it was so fun to capture.
The first look was filled with emotion, love, excitement and all of the good feels. Jamie was blown away by how incredible Lindsay looked in her wedding dress. Lindsay topped off her wedding day outfit off with a beautiful headband that sparkled. It was just the perfect touch a vintage glam. We love shooting at The Doctor’s House and so we wandered the beautiful early spring grounds and basked in the warm sunshine for some fantastic photos with the bride and groom and the wedding party. We then headed to Kleinburg for just a little bit for a few more photos before the ceremony. I love walking along with the bride and groom, everyone wishes the couple love and happiness, it’s so great to see how kind and excited people are for the newlyweds.
Spring Doctor’s House Wedding
Lindsay and Jamie were so excited to marry each other, their best friend. The ceremony chapel was full to the brim with all of the guess Lindsay and Jamie chose to be there for their big day. Their vows were touching, funny, full of love, laughter and happy tears. After the ceremony we did a huge group shot with everyone on the stairs of the chapel.
The grounds of The Doctor’s House are beautiful no matter what time of year it is, and the staff there is always so willing to help and always has the couples best interests at heart.
Cocktails were full of buzz and excitement and well wishes for the bride and groom.
The dinner was dotted with beautiful heartfelt speeches from the bride and groom’s family and friends. It was an incredible celebration of their love, and the support and love that their family and friends gifted them with and just a great day overall. We snuck out a little bit later in the evening for a few more photos. Although I know Lindsay would’ve much rather stayed and enjoyed her guests, I know those photos were so worth it.
Lindsay and Jamie you know I love you, I fell for you two and your awesome sense of humour during your engagement session last year, thank you so much for this amazing start to my 2017 wedding season I was so excited that it was you that I got to photograph as my first wedding couple of 2017. I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did. I’m sure you were so excited to be surrounded by such love and support from everyone surrounding you. Congratulations!
