Andrea & Joe’s Prince Edward County Wedding

Where do I start? Andrea and Joe’s perfect Drake Devonshire Prince Edward County wedding was beyond special. I have known Andrea since 2009, she was then the junior team member of our amazing real estate team.  And we got to know each other while when helped us search for our dream house. A few years later, I photographed Andrea’s sister’s wedding. I got to know their family, they’re just the sweetest. Fast forward a few years, and Joe comes along. They swipe right on tinder, they fall for one another bonding over their love for the Olympics. I met Joe for the first time during the workshop I teach for my Wedding Photography class. They were one of the couples who came out to model for my class. Andrea was SO happy. I mean, she’s naturally such an energetic and happy person. But this was so different. She was beaming. Joe, Andrea and their fur baby Buttons made for an awesome trio for my students to photograph.

Joe proposed at the Drake Devonshire, right by the water, on the bleachers. It was the perfect get away. By the next morning, Andrea was already planning the wedding. She knew she wanted to get married at the Drake in PEC.

When Andrea and Joe told me they wanted me to capture their day, I was ecstatic! They told me of their plans for an intimate Drake Devonshire wedding. Their closes friends and family, there with them. Sitting on the same bleachers Joe proposed. Enjoying the amazing views, food, and wine and cocktails. Their day was perfect! Perhaps the weather was not ideal, but who cares! When you’re surrounded by the people you chose to celebrate with you. People who know you, who support you. That’s totally amazing.
