This is a bit of a different shoot…as some of you may know I’m teaching a class on Wedding Photography…it’s a class for people just starting out or wanting to venture out into the business.  I’ve had a bunch of great students, and as part of the class we have workshops where they can get some experience and build their portfolio.

This is Emma, she was one of the lovely people who donated their time and modeled for us [unfortunately her husband was not able to make it]. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, but she is an absolute natural in front of the camera, I have to say she made it way too easy for my students. I love that she was willing to take her wedding dress out of the closet for some more photos…and I love the fact that she actually forgot her wedding shoes, and sported some rugged boots for the shoot instead…it completely worked for the setting.

Our backdrop was the Steam Whistle Brewery, right downtown, what a fantastic location for a place that brews a delish pilsner + the light in there is simply flawless…if you are hosting an event or are looking for a beautifully urban venue for your wedding, this place is it…the atmosphere is amazing, you look up at the CN Tower and downtown Toronto, and to top it off the staff is absolutely awesome!

Here are a few shots I took during the course of the workshop…Emma you are stunning!

[Another post coming soon from the same shoot! – keep ’em peeled]
