Sara & Apostolo – Downey’s Farm Engagement Photos
This super fun fall farm engagement photo session, just outside of Toronto on Downey’s farm was so worth getting up early for. Let me tell you all of the many reasons. ;o)
Spending the morning with Sara and Post creating their farm engagement photo magic! I had a blast with them during our initial meeting. I was so looking forward to photographing them! This morning farm engagement photo session on a brisk fall day, was fun, romantic, stylish, hilarious, windy, sunny. It included a baby goat [YUP!], and a great story from Sara about a goat…keep reading…it included man powered go-karts, a corn maze, pumpkins, biscotti and pumpkin spice donuts!!!
Ok, here’s a bit more detail…Sara and Post love Downey’s farm. This is why they wanted a fall farm engagement photo session. It’s located in Caledon, not too far from Toronto. And is the perfect spot for the farm experience. They love going on little day trips on weekends, and this was one of their awesome choices. On their last trip to the farm, Sara might have accidentally let a few goats out of the pen, by not locking the gate properly.
That story, told by her, with a few side notes form Post had me in stitches!! It was hilarious, by the end of the session, my cheeks hurt from all the laughter, and it was not even 9am! A good start to my morning. Sara also talked up these amazing pumpkin spice donuts the farmer’s market serves. And we got the first, warm delicious batch from the farm store to end our session. I’m not sure if Sara was more excited about the photos or the donuts…oh who am I kidding…it was so the donuts!
Sara & Post, you are two of the funniest people I have met. I loved how you were up for anything, from sitting on the wet hay, to racing go-karts, to standing in the wind corridor of the farm. Sara, thank you for the amazing home made biscotti. To end a session with a full tummy, and snacks to go, was just so perfect!
