Cailey & Nigel – Hart House Wedding Photos

Hart House wedding photos are some of my favourite, and this wedding was no exception. For me this was a perfect blend of fun, love, laughter and families coming together from near and far, to celebrate this awesome couple.

Just a few days prior to their wedding, I had the pleasure of enjoying an evening at the Toronto Islands for their engagement session, since Nigel and Cailey live overseas. This couples was so excited to say I do, and so excited to show all of the out of towners the beauty Toronto has to offer [I’m kind of a fan of this fantastic city].

Cailey & Nigel’s day at Hart House was beautiful. Friends and family joined them for the getting ready part of the day. Their first looks was so full of anticipation and every bit of the day was them making their memories together. The bond their families formed was beyond touching, and only after knowing each other for a little while. It was so joyous to be able to capture that.

Nigel & Cailey two met in the UK, while on a photography workshop. They noticed each other, Cailey asked Nigel for some photo advice. And well, I might be biased, but falling for each other over your love of photography is totally romantic. Granted, I’m sure the landscapes they got to photograph, made the whole process even more romantic.

I’m a total sap. So to know that somehow, Cailey and Nigel’s paths were meant to cross, half way around the world. That’s nothing short of amazing. And it make my heart so happy, to know they are madly in love.

There’s something to be said about fate. Call me a total romantic, but I so believe in it. Maybe that’s why with every wedding I shoot, I cheer for each couple.
