You may remember Jin + Brian’s engagement I shot earlier this summer. I had a blast with them at the Brickworks…and was completely excited for their wedding day. They were one of the fun-nest couples I have ever had the chance to photograph. The entire day was filled with laughter, smiles + ease. It warmed my heart to see that kind of connection between a couple, they are best friends who fell in love, and what more could you ask for in a marriage, for me that is truly the best secret any couple could have.

Jin + Brian started off with a beautiful ceremony at Young Nak English Ministry, Pastor Peter was fantastic and so relevant, he knew the couple well so the ceremony was filled with personal stories and some great advice. We headed to Wasabi to refuel where Jin + Brian had the chance to mingle with some of their guests for lunch…after a fantastic meal we were on our way to Phyllis Rawlinson Park, the clouds were turning dark, and all I was thinking is ‘please let the rain stay away for a little while longer’, it toyed with us a bit, sprinkled here and there, but we were able to get some absolutely amazing photos, the sky was stunning…the couple gorgeous…the wedding party – awesome! We headed to the Premiere Ballroom where Jin and Brian changed for the PaeBaek [a traditional Korean wedding ceremony] – it was fantastic, they completely got into the role playing of the demure bride and strong groom and giggled at one another. One of their grandmothers threw a handful of chestnuts and dates during the PaeBaek so that they added up to something close to 21 children for the newlyweds. The rest of the evening was spent enjoying great speeches, delish food and an awesome video the wedding party shot for the bride and groom.

Congratulations Jin + Brian…may you always find laughter in each other.

I love this moment between Jin and her dad as she was making her way down the aisle towards Brian.Only the cutest first kiss ever! Jin swung Brian around sooo hard to plant one on him…I love a girl who knows what she wants!I love this wedding party shot…the gorgeous group plus the defined clouds…fantastic combo! The gorgeous details…the grey + yellow details worked so well.Jin and Brian flirting with each other right before the PaeBaek. Some beautiful bling + a super sweet candy bar = one happy photographer and some  ‘sweet’ ring shots…[I’m a cheese ball…I know]This ring bearer will be a heart breaker some time soon…he is a total charmer…a talented dancer…and a snappy dresser…a pin striped suit with a red polka dot bow tie! Adorable! There was some serious dancing competition for the centre pieces…The guys wanted to make sure Brian’s plane ride to their honeymoon destination was super fun…so they fed him a fish bowl sized beer…needless to say…Brian…you rock!
