Emma & Lukas
Today I’m sharing with you a sweet Old Mill wedding. This wedding at the Old Mill in Toronto is close to my heart. Lukas’ dad was my art teacher in high school and is now my neighbour. So I’ve gotten to know Lukas and Emma over the past few years.
Lukas & Emma have a super sweet love. They are high school sweet hearts who’s story began in science class. Lukas finally got the courage and asked Emma out over MSN Messenger. ;o) Their first kiss was at Centennial Park, and Lukas thought it was the perfect spot to return to, years later when he wanted to propose to Emma. Emma’s maid of honour, Lisa, called Lukas out on being super romantic but totally practical, as he tried to throw Emma off any idea of proposal by making a stop at the drug store for some deodorant, prior to popping the question.
Every aspect of this wedding had Emma & Lukas written all of it. From the bright colours they picked for the flowers, the personalized invitations they designed, to the unique hand made centrepieces and favours. Each single piece was made with so much thought and love.
Surrounded by the tightly knit families and an awesome group of friends, who all wished the rain away, their wedding day was perfect form beginning to end.
Lukas & Emma, thank you so so much for inviting me to share in your day and capture your memories for you, Giulia and I enjoyed every minute of it. Congratulations!
