I am beyond excited to share this post with you. I feel as if I let the words flow you’ll be reading 40 pages…so here is the Coles notes version.

Alison & Chris are very good friends of ours. I have known Alison for a while [yeah Image Arts alum!], but when Alison was set up on a blind date with Chris, who knew they would meet, fall in love, get married and we’d have another great addition to our group [yes Chris, I’m talking about you]

As some of you know I run engagement and wedding photo workshops through the course I teach at Ryerson, and when Alison & Chris volunteered to model for our class and have a post wedding Bride & Groom session I was thrilled!

Alison & Chris are just great, down to earth, genuine people. They share a love for cats and fantastic food, and we love them because we can always count on them as regulars on game night. Alison is the best, she is the one that laughs until wine comes shooting out her nose [sorry Ali], is all full of energy..and then crashes! Chris is the cool, calm half of this duo, you can always count on him for absolutely fun facts about anything from history to Star Wars and he will always, always win at Trivial Pursuit.

These are my friends, I know they are one good looking couple but when I photographed them during the workshop I saw a different side of them. Chris looked at Alison with these adoring eyes, they had such a sweet energy and moments between them, even though there were close to 20 of us pointing our cameras at them, it was as if they were in their own world, uninterrupted, unspoiled and completely enamoured with one another. I loved it! I loved capturing that. Alison, you are beyond stunning, gorgeous and you have found your self one dapper guy [but you already know that]!

Congratulations on your marriage! Thank you both once again for modelling for us. I know the students were blown away with the images they captured. Most of all thank you for your friendship…to many more food, wine, great conversation & game filled evenings.
