I am so very excited about this post. Not only because this was one gorgeous winter wedding but because the couple, Tara + Adam, are close friends of ours and truly the sweetest, most genuine people you’ll meet. I met Adam around 8 years ago when I started dating my husband. Yancy and Adam met when Adam was shoved by his brothers into Yancy’s parents back yard through a hole in the fence when they were 5 years old. I love that story…Tara and Adam met through mutual friends, fell in love…and the rest is history. They are perfect together!
Tara [and Adam] put so much work into this wedding, each details was meticulously thought through and Tara’s vision of what she wanted her wedding to be came true. It was a stunning combination of muted blues and velvety grays…Tara – all your planning was so worth it, everything was beautiful.
Tara + Adam, thank you so much for putting your trust in me and asking me to capture your wedding day…it was truly an honour. Congratulations!
Side note: I was a guest and the photographer at this wedding…it was soooo much fun. Initially I was worried about how to two roles would work together, but it was great, I was excited to capture the wedding memories for two great friends, and was able to totally enjoy the rest of the night…camera in tow of course!

The light in Tara + Adam’s apartment was to die for…it does help to have a beautiful bride to work with.
The entire day reminded me of a snow globe…memories of perfect scenes with just the right amount of sparkly snow.
Tara’s dad got so emotional when he first saw his daughter, it was so special…needless to say…tears of joy flowed.
