Marissa + Jim are truly one of the cutest couples I photographed…plus they own the most adorable pooch – TJ! Planning for this shoot was a bit nuts…we dodged some serious rain and had to use some of our rain dates, on which it rain AGAIN! In the end we decided to brave it, and enjoyed walking around the King East and Esplanade areas. I love using the city as a back drop for shoots, one -no permit required…two – there are so many nooks and crannies, that ever few steps you are given a completely unique setting.
Marissa + Jim have been together for a while…and what I loved seeing was the way Marissa made a very discreet effort to try to get Jim [who is a little camera shy] to be comfortable in front of the camera…a little joke, a subtle hug, a few whispers…she was so concerned the entire shoot to make sure he was enjoying himself…these little things is truly what love is…and I am thrilled with the results.
You two are exactly the reason I love photographing people in love…I cannot wait to photograph your wedding day!
