This fabulous couple is Dawn + Shawn [their names rhyme – totally meant to be], not only are they absolutely super sweet, they have a fantastic story as well. They met up north, tree planting, by the end of the trip they were head over heels for each other and had adopted a stray dog…as you will see animals are a huge part in Dawn’s and now Shawn’s life [even though he’s allergic]. I had a childhood friend who reminds me of Dawn…you know, that girl who always took care of all the four-legged creatures around, and would try to sneak them home…Dawn has adopted pets from near and far [as far as Russia] and Shawn is along for the ride. She thought he’d be lonely being away for school soooo, she bought him a kitty cat, plus a second one, so the 1st kitty would not be lonely when Shawn is studying – Shawn found out he had a cat allergy as well.
I loved their story, the fact that they are so in synch, that Shawn is willing to put up with his allergies so that Dawn can keep on saving pups and cats…you cannot ask for a more in love, gorgeous couple.
Adam [the associate photographer] had a fantastic time with these two, being a total dog lover and quite outdoors-y himself, he captured the true essence of Dawn + Shawn. What more do you need…adorably rhyming names, a super cute couple, half a dozen or so doggies, plus a few kitties…and you have yourself a match made in heaven!
Congratulations you two!

Hello Dawn and Shawn, we have just viewed your wedding photos, they are all beautiful. Congratulations to you
and Best Wishes for a long and happy life together.
Just realized my post didn’t show up on the blog… so I’ll add something now!
Thank you so much Adam, we LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures. I’m so glad that you included that picture of my boys and I (my pups of course)- I miss them and keep opening that picture. Pam, I agree, Adam you did catch my father’s soul. I was entirely struck by it as well.
These capture the charm, delight and sincerity of the people and day – utterly beautiful.
You’ve really captured them, Adam. The bride/groom pictures are outstanding and worth a thousand memories through the years. The one that overwhelmed me, though, is the one of Ian. His soul shows in that picture. Wonderful!
Awesome job Adam!!!!!
