I had the pleasure of meeting Melissa + Joel at a fabulous wedding I shot a little while back. Joel is best friends with Geordan, so I was thrilled when Melissa and him asked me to capture their day.
Melissa + Joel met at the famed theatre at Canada’s Wonderland when they were working there one summer. I know quite a few couples most likely have steamy summer romances at Wonderland, but I’m sure very few make it all the way to the altar. ;o)
From the art deco details, to the beautiful flowers and awesome cake, Melissa and Joel are super lucky to have family and friends who 1. are so talented, and 2. were so involved in making this wedding so beautiful [plus all of them are just super sweet]
Because of the unpredictable weather that day, the ceremony was moved inside but it did not matter, their vows were beautiful + their smiles lit up the entire room. From there we were so lucky the weather cooperated for some outdoor photos because Deer Creek Golf Club has some beautiful grounds for photos. The reception was perfect! Geordan’s best man speech was AWESOME! [as were the others, of course].
Congratulations to Melissa + Joel on tying the knot…I hope you guys had a fantastic time on your California honeymoon, I cannot wait to hear all about it!
